Some people think, "Ehhh! The insurance pays if our car gets stolen." However, logic dictates that if a car gets stolen, insurance premiums will go up for everyone and specifically the victim of car theft. According to the Insurance Bureau of Canada, auto thefts cause car insurance premiums to rise by an average of $130 annually for Ontario drivers. Fortunately, this can easily be prevented or at least reduced.
I call it preventable because with the correct tracker installed, a thief will try to start the car, fail, and move on. Our tracker immobilizer or kill switch allows you to prevent the car from starting when you are away, or even when it is being driven away by someone unauthorized. This simple solution eliminates the need for bulky, outdated wheel locks and does not interfere with the convenience of key-less starters.
